Bobby Amiri

Head of Startup Products & Services – USA

Bobby is a Silicon Valley native and emerging market-focused entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. He takes a hands-on approach toward advising founders and invests in early-stage startups – he also designs and runs corporate accelerator programs, educating founders in Lean Startup / agile and connecting startups to the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

Since 2015, he’s helped accelerate more than 315 startups from emerging markets with over $400M raised. Bobby Co-Founded the Pioneer Accelerator with Google Developers Launchpad while with Global Silicon Valley Labs (GSV), one of the largest innovation hubs in Silicon Valley.

Bobby is the Head of Startup Products and Services for Mind the Bridge, an SF-based innovation advisory firm that works at the intersection of corporations and startups. Bobby is also a Limited Partner at Balero Ventures. He works with non-profit organizations working with under-resourced founders as both a mentor and/or program lead for Streetcode Academy, HBCU Founders Initiative and Digital Undivided.

He previously worked in Sales and Product Management with both IBM and HP. He speaks regularly at global technology conferences and has an MBA from Pepperdine University with a focus on Global Markets and is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. In his free time he likes to travel, hike, work out, take photos and play the guitar.
