Jay brings a scientist’s perspective to the world of innovation consulting. His career began with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science and a year of hands-on research into neurodegenerative diseases. This experience in the lab motivated him to shift his focus from pure research to the wider challenge of ensuring valuable innovations actually reach the market.

To transition from the lab to business, Jay moved to Barcelona for a Master’s in Biotech and Pharma Management. The program gave him the tools to apply his analytical training to business strategy, a skill he has since used to help MedTech and tech startups shape their commercial plans and navigate their path forward.

Jay’s international background is central to his approach. Brought up in Belgium, he is fluent in three languages and has also lived and studied in Scotland and Spain. Outside of work, he stays active with running and swimming, and draws inspiration from his interests in travel, film, and music.
