About The Role
As Marketing Event Coordinator, you’re responsible for executing and developing event strategies. You are also overseeing the creation and execution of the events happening at the Mind the Bridge Innovation Center, both for our corporate clients and for 3rd parties who book our venue.

With our corporate clients, you will be working on activities that involve large international corporations and institutions like Microsoft, Google, Acciona, Unipol, Enel, ENI, Dell, ACEA, Zain, Amadeus, EU Commission, Ministries of Korea, JETRO (Japan  External Trade Organization), and many others.

On the 3rd parties event organizers end, you will be in charge of overseeing the reservations of our Innovation Center with the opportunity to connect and create relationships with organizations like Uber, Google, Airbnb, Stripe, Dropbox, Stanford, Insightly, Fujitsu, and many more that use our venues.
You’ll work closely with the General Manager of the MTB Innovation Center, the CEO of Mind the Bridge, the US team part of the San Francisco office. You will also work with the MTB global team   across the world to align on content objectives for each activity and to create a vision on how to manage the events from concept to execution. You will also serve as the lead on-site to ensure all details of all the events are executed as planned.

You’ll report to the General Manager of MTB Innovation Center and sit on the Innovation Center team.

This is a perfect opportunity for an event professional who is an active salesperson, is operationally savvy and is highly focused on delivering a high end and revenue-generating experience for both existing corporate clients and Silicon Valley stakeholders.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You’ll…
  • Partner with your leadership team to develop the vision and strategy for all world-facing activities with high end notable customers;
  • Manage/coordinate the entire event process end-to-end, from planning to execution;
  • Develop and manage the project plan for each event, ensuring key deadlines and deliverables are met;
  • Partner with the Innovation Advisory team (account managers) to provide the best corporate level (with a “lean startup touch”) experience to our clients;
  • Partner with the General Manager of the MTB Innovation Center to develop the event communication strategy for attendees and/or event organizers, ensuring they have all necessary information for each event;
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for both core clients and 3rd party event organizers;
  • Create and maintain a clearly organized archive of event management processes, templates, and operational tools that can be leveraged for future events;
  • Manage the meetings and events portion of the Mind the Bridge Innovation Center budget. Build bottom up budgets for each program and track activities to ensure each one is within budget;
  • Partner with your Manager to develop and manage the strategy that connects the remote teams to the Innovation Center, and each other.
  • Explore new and exciting ways to convey important information to the Innovation Center Audience;
  • Manage the external communication through our social accounts;

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or communications;
  • You have 1-3 years of work experience in managing complex large-scale training focused employee-facing corporate events;
  • You are a strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to take a project from concept to execution with little guidance;

  • You are available to work full time at the Mind the Bridge Innovation Center in San Francisco;

  • You use data to adapt, adjust plans, programs, etc. You love data and understand when and how to use it to inform the work you do;
