In this Mind the Chat Marco Marinucci shares insight with Giovanni Tula, Head of Sustainability for Enel Global Power Generation, Enel’s business line for energy generation from conventional and renewable sources.

Giovanni graduated in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1997. At the onset of his career, he served as project engineer, construction supervisor and proposal manager at Foster Wheeler. At the beginning of his career he joined Alcoa and began to work in Health, Safety and Environment, managing teams, projects and programs, and becoming familiar with various HSE management models, systems and cultures. He was involved in international projects with a high degree of complexity. In 2008, he moved to Tenaris.

In 2010, Giovanni joined the Enel Group, taking on various positions at the global level, first at the International Division, then from 2014 at Enel Green Power, where he led the HSEQ, Innovation and Sustainability Units.

Focus of the chat is sustainability at Enel: measurable objectives and improvement in time and geographies.
