
Yub Shin
Managing Director – Asia
Yub Shin is a managing director at Mind the Bridge in charge of its Asia business. Yub has over two decades of professional experience in management consulting, business development, and investment advisory. He has extensive experience in strategy & operations, M&A and partnership, go-to-market strategy, due diligence, industry / competitor benchmarking, and sustainability in a wide range of industries, including high tech., consumer & retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and private equity.
Prior to joining Mind the Bridge, he was a partner at Arthur D. Little and also served as the global ESG committee member at the firm. Before that, he worked at ERM, Kearney, IMS Health, and Monitor Deloitte as a manager to partner. Throughout his professional career, he has served numerous conglomerates (Korean Chaebols), multinational corporations (MNC), mid-sized local companies, start-ups, governments, and financial investors such as private equity funds, infrastructure funds, credit funds, real estate funds, and many others on their topline growth and bottom-line improvement initiatives, closely supporting their C-level and senior management.
He is an editorial board member at one of the leading business magazines where he is also a columnist, contributing articles on various business topics. He also speaks at a number of industry / corporate conferences, summits, and forums as a guest speaker and/or panel discussion member on a regular basis.
He has an MBA from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is pursuing his Doctorate degree at Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva, and Paris School of Management.
During his free time, he likes to travel (and enjoys wine), having visited about 25 countries for both work and pleasure.
