Samuele Poletto in Mind the Bridge
The MTB family is getting larger and larger.
Today I’m happy to welcome to the family our new addition, Samuele (Sam, that is).
Born in a little village close to Venice, he has become, by all standards, a product of Silicon Valley.
Samuele holds a BA in Political Science with a concentration on International Studies and Economics from University of Padua and an MBA from the University of Bologna and University of California, Berkeley. He graduated (cum Laude) in March 2015 developing a business intelligence model to improve the customer acquisition process for American Express using SAS.
At Haas School of Business Samuele focused on financial subjects and entrepreneurial ventures, deepening his knowledge of venture capital and investments. In summer ’14, he joined the team of Bayes Impact as program manager in the summer batch at our friends at Y-Combinator. Bayes Impact is a leading nonprofit in the data science environment that works on solutions for social good.
At Mind The Bridge, Samuele will further develop our Startup School Program, fostering innovation across Europe and Silicon Valley. His role includes scouting for technologies and scale-ups for European corporations in the Startup European Partnership. He will also serve in the Mind The Seed fund, continuing the round of investment and scouting for new seed level ventures.
Come and say hi, next time you are in SOMA…
