Startup Weekend 31 January 2014 – 2 February, Talent Garden (Milan)
Another non-stop Startup Weekend (Website) is going to take place in a couple of weeks (from Jan 31 through Feb 2) in Milan.
Are you resting enough to arrive well prepared? Are you ready to sleep only a few hrs per night (if you are able to sleep), drink liters of coffee and play for all?
Jokes aside, the 54-hrs famous event supported by Kauffman Foundation, organized and hosted by our friends of Talent Garden with the help of Frontiers Conferences and Startupbusiness, is a great opportunity for you to present your idea, build your team, work intensively on a project and get to know a lot of new people (with the most diverse backgrounds), who have the same goals and aspirations you have. Exciting, isn’t it?
What you can get from these 2 days and half is not just that. You will be coached, evaluated, and you will have eventually the possibility to be awarded with a free seat @Mind the Bridge Startup School in San Francisco!
The MTB Startup School is a three-week program that offers selected participants both theoretical and experiential learning of what it’s like to be a Silicon Valley startup. Aimed at teaching participants to think like a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, this hands-on program is also tailored to address the entrepreneurial needs of professionals to transform their early stage startup into a new venture worthy of financial support. Supporting the Team of Scout2Pro at the Milan Startup Weekend, I have a consulting business myself, specializing on management innovation and startups. I’d love to take part in the MTB Startup School in San Francisco.
There is still so much I want to learn about how startups work differently from established firms. This knowledge I would like to take into my consulting practice to help other European firms to innovate the way they run their business.
