MTB ’s Executive Intrapreneurship Program, held Aug 11th-15th, was a resounding success.

Representing SME companies such as Jamio, to big corporations like L’Oreal, participants in the program provided similar feedback that was no less positive.

Upon arriving back to his company in Italy, Salvatore Latronico, CEO of Jamio OpenWork, put together an innovation team of five people to apply what he learned. “The best part of the executive school was how to articulate your value proposition and applying the Lean Canvas. We revised our company story and further refined our business model,” Latronico said in a skype interview. “We have totally revised our product presentation and will be presenting to the rest of the company of 31 people later this month.”

Designed to be most effective through company team participation, the MTB Executive Intrapreneurship Program takes middle-to-upper managers back to the proverbial garage where the company’s innovative foundations were first developed. Our mission is to help them and their company become more agile and innovative, and to successfully create and execute new business opportunities.

The program provides entrepreneurship training for managers, executives, entrepreneurs and other business professionals within established organizations past their startup phase. The program also is well suited for high-tech scaleups, as well as companies, large and small, operating in more traditional industries. Offering practical skills and best practices aimed at innovation by design — not exception, a key objective of the program is to create “innovation officers” who champion organizational policies, processes and incentives for change.

“I’m very happy,” Latronico said with a broad smile. “This is a very useful program and methodology we are transporting to all of the company. I was really impressed with how easy it was to implement. MTB especially liked the scale-up concept and the approach to business partnering.” He said he’s now working closely with the Gartner group to execute a revised partnering strategy.
