Today, he is a Distinguished Fellow & Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon’s School of Engineering at Silicon Valley, as well as a Distinguished Fellow at the Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard Law School. Throughout his long and esteemed career in academia, Vivek has also held appointments at Stanford Law, UC Berkeley, Emory University and Singularity University, where he is currently an adjunct faculty member.

In addition, Vivek is a prolific writer. Not only he is a globally syndicated columnist at the Washington Post, but he has also authored several excellent books, some of his most recent being Your Happiness Was Hacked and Driver in the Driverless Car, which made the Financial Times’ long list for business book of the year in 2017 and explored the role that our technological choices will play in shaping our global futures.
